Support Every Step of the Way

The value of UCEAP programs is in the integration, collaboration and consultation with UC. Get help from staff before, during and after your study abroad to find the right program and have the experience of your life:

  • At home – each UC campus has a study abroad office responsible for guiding students through the study abroad process. They work with UC financial aid and registrar offices to ensure the transition is as easy as possible.
  • On Site Abroad – our study center faculty and staff serve as an interconnected support team responsible for delivering on-site support, advising on policies and course selection, and assisting in the translation of your credits and grades. Study center teams work closely with host university officials, embassy and consulate representatives, and other organizations to monitor local conditions and ensure UC student safety and security at all times.
  • Worldwide – our Systemwide Office establishes UCEAP policy, develops program options, and supports both outgoing and international exchange students. This team conducts research, disseminates orientation materials, and maintains strong communication between the various offices while monitoring health, safety and security concerns.
