Study Abroad in the Czech Republic

The cosmopolitan capital city of Prague offers a thriving and fascinating cultural scene. Ancient Gothic cathedrals and medieval streets are the backdrop to modern art galleries, avant-garde theater, ice bars and music venues. Centrally located, the Czech Republic is a great gateway to Western and Eastern Europe.

Optional guided trips to Berlin, Krakow and Vienna as well as academic field trips in Bohemia and Moravia expand on course topics. Internships include ways to get involved locally with political conferences, film festivals, NGOs in education or human rights and more. You may also access performing arts and cinema courses at the Prague Film and TV School (FAMU), central Europe’s preeminent film academy.
