You spend five weeks in your first city, where you are required to take one Core course and the relevant City course. If you would like to, and can manage the schedule, you may add an additional core course in the first city.
In the second city, you take another five-week core course, begin the Workforce course that supports the internship experience, and undertake the City course that runs for eleven weeks through to the end of the internship.
All the core courses carry 4.5 quarter/3.0 semester UC units. The City courses carry 3.0 quarter/2.0 semester units for the first city, and 6.0 quarter/4.5 semester units for the second. The Workforce/Internship course also carries 6.0 quarter/4.5 semester units.
All core courses and the internship are upper-division credit. Note that some classes also may occasionally require activities on a weekend or holiday.
