Housing
Housing is not guaranteed.  The standard rental period for some housing options is nine months (or until the end of the academic year for students arriving in January). Students leaving their housing before the end of the agreement may be subject to a cancellation fee.

Application:  Email your name, UC Davis student ID number, gender, date of birth, current e-mail and phone number to Student Housing and ask to be added to the "wait list." Identify yourself as an UCEAP student in the text of your message and in the subject line include your name and "UCEAP Wait List."

Notes: First year students receive priority placement in campus housing. After this priority group is housed, more advanced students can be placed. You are encouraged to simultaneously research other housing options since available space will not be known until September.

When should I arrive?: No later than September 16, 2018; No earlier than August 18, 2018

You may arrive no more than 30 days prior to the start date printed on your visa certificate of eligibility (DS-2019). Students who do not have pre-arranged housing should arrive as early as possible.

Fee: $95 (subject to change) will be billed to your UC Davis account; Orientation includes meals.

Complete check-in within one week of receipt of your check-in email.  See the list of documents you must provide.

See email instructions for your individual appointment time. Enrollment limit is 17 units.

Pass 2 Times: August 23 - 31, 2018
See email for instructions. Enrollment limit is 19 units. You may wait list courses. Drop unwanted courses before adding new courses.

Open Registration: May 26 - June 8 and September 1 - 14, 2018
 
Open Registration Hours:  Enroll Monday - Friday from 6:00 a.m. - 12:00 a.m., Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. No appointment necessary.

Registration Freeze:  September 15, 12:00 a.m. - September 19, 5:59 a.m.

Schedule Adjustment Period September 19, 6:00 a.m. - October 30, 2018

Prerequisite Checking
Schedule Builder will check to see if you have completed the required prerequisites for all courses.Instructors will remove you from the class if you cannot demonstrate completion of course prerequisites.  Contact an advisor if you have questions about whether or not you meet the prerequisites for a course.

Graduate students
Graduate students usually register after consultation with the department’s graduate advisor. Check with your host department for registration advising.
 
Financial Information

Student Information System (SISWeb): View your student account.
Financial information is available online. You are responsible for checking your student account regularly and paying any fees that apply.

MyBill Online Payments: Enjoy the convenience of online payment.  No paper statement will be sent to you.

International Student ​Orientation Fee: $95 (subject to change) will be billed to your UC Davis account; Orientation includes refreshments.

Health Insurance Fees: Fees will be billed to your account each quarter.  See Health Insurance & Services information.

Health Insurance & Services

2017-18 costs and dates are listed below. Information for 2018-19 is not yet available.

Requirement: Students are automatically enrolled in the University’s Student Health Insurance Plan, unless they complete a waiver form that provides proof of equivalent coverage, and it is approved. 

Cost: $753 per quarter (undergraduates); $1,428 per quarter (graduates)

Spring quarter: March 15, 2019
 
Effective Dates:
Fall: September 25, 2017 - January 4, 2018

*If you are a registered student during Spring quarter, your spring SHIP fee provides coverage through the end of Summer.
