Housing is not guaranteed. Be aware that the standard rental agreement for some housing accommodations is nine months or 12 months. Students leaving their housing before the end of the agreement may be subject to a cancellation fee or other penalties as defined in the rental agreement.

Application Instructions: EAP students do not need to submit a SIR (Statement of Intent to Register); this is done on students' behalf by EAP. Follow all other instructions. If you submit multiple applications, the last one submitted will be considered active. Late applicants will be added to a waiting list.

Method of Payment Options: Student's BARC account will automatically be billed.
Notification of Housing Assignments: Apartment and roommate assignments are generally e-mailed by the end of August for fall students and by the end of December for winter students.

If you are looking for a residence hall arrangement with a flexible meal plan, these halls are good options. They are conveniently located in walking distance to UCSB and include community living activities and all other residence amenities.

A limited number of assignments are reserved for international students. The living environment of the Co-Op emphasizes community, cooperation, and responsibility. Residents are expected to make a contribution to the care of their surroundings through the service program, participation in meal preparation, house chores and meetings.

is free to currently enrolled UCSB students. Students can search and/or submit listings for off-campus housing.
Check with CHO staff about their list of preferred providers for UCEAP students.
Other Housing Resources (Non-UC Housing)
Students should be aware that this housing is not UC-sponsored or endorsed and that it not advisable to rent prior to arrival when you can visit the rental in person. Beware of scams- Do not send money in advance to anyone you meet online.
