Academic Integration

EAP plays a crucial role in training students for citizenship and careers in a globalized world; thus the integration of EAP into the academic curricula of UC campuses is a high priority.
Academic Integration (AI) activities involve partnering with UC academic units to:

• Promote education abroad through academic channels
• Provide students with major-specific advice as to why, where, and when they should participate in EAP and how to choose appropriate course work abroad
• Approve EAP courses to fulfill major and breadth requirements
• Develop courses and training that provide a foundation for or build on education abroad experiences
