EAP targets specific academic disciplines and majors in its publications and promotional materials:

In addition, EAP encourages academic units to advocate study abroad opportunities in the classroom and in their informational materials:

• Websites
• General Catalogs
• Departmental Handbooks: e.g., Economics (Santa Cruz) (PDF)
• Major Summary Sheets: Distributed by the admissions office at some campuses. Examples: Electrical Engineering (PDF) (Riverside); French and Italian Studies (PDF) (Santa Barbara); Marine Biology (Santa Cruz).
• Other: Brochures and newsletters; admissions packet materials; e-mails to students, staff, and faculty; career services; alumni panels; etc.

Finally, EAP and academic units should work together to provide forums for past study abroad participants to share their experiences with their fellow majors.
