In 1962 the University of California elected to partner with the University of Bordeaux to launch its study abroad program. In the half-century since the first participants set out for Bordeaux in the south of France, the program has grown and flourished. UCEAP will celebrate this achievement with UC partners, students and alumni and work to continue to strengthen a program that provides UC quality affordable study abroad for today's students.
