Course Description

This course in Swedish language builds on basic skills using texts, discussion and exercises to increase skills in speaking, understanding spoken Swedish, reading, and writing. Grammar sections include: further training in use of nouns in their singular, plural, definite and indefinite form; regular and irregular comparative adjectives; adjectives in attributive and predicative position; further training in use of verbs in the infinitive, present, preterit, perfect, future, and imperative form; the use of helping verbs; pronouns in the subjective and objective forms; reflexive possessive pronouns; sentence structure including main clauses and subordinate clauses. Direct method of instruction is used.

SWEDISH
