Course Description

 

This course studies Swedish language at an intermediate level including development of speaking, reading and writing skills. Grammar sections include adverbial phrases, irregular verbs, and complex sentence structure. Reading includes longer texts and exercises in listening comprehension to increase ability to understand the spoken language. Oral presentations and group discussions are used to increase communicative skills. Part B continues with word order, reflexive possessive pronouns, adverbs and prepositions. Reading advances to novels and longer articles. Writing of short articles, oral presentations and group discussions are used to increase communicative skills.
