Course Description

This course studies basic knowledge of Swedish language using texts, discussion, and exercises to build skills in speaking, understanding spoken Swedish, reading, and writing. Grammar sections include nouns in their singular, plural, definite and indefinite form; verbs in the infinitive, present, preterite, perfect, future and imperative form; pronouns in the subjective and objective forms; relative pronouns; simple sentence structure and sentence structure including adverbs. Swedish is used in the classroom from the start of the course.
