Description
|
Doshisha University course Japanese IV, General. This course develops a well-balanced, intermediate level proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing. It introduces 100 important sentence patterns for intermediate level students through close reading of the text and listening practice. Students learn approximately 4000 basic words and 500 intermediate kanji. Texts: AN INTEGRATED APPROACH TO INTERMEDIATE JAPANESE published by Nihongo Kenkyusha; Toyoko Mitsui, NYUUSU DE MANABU NIHONGO PART II. Assessment is based on attendance, participation, and assignments (30%), and quizzes and a final exam (70%). Note: ''Intermediate'' level language courses at the host university are comparable to UC upper-division language courses.
