Course Description

 

This beginning Portuguese course utilizes an interactive teaching style to develop the learner's functional communicative ability. Focus is placed on vocabulary, indicative and subjunctive verbs, nouns and pronouns, adjectives, adverbs, and numerals. Oral and written communication are both emphasized. Assessment is based on class work, compositions, tests, mid-term examination, and a final examination.
