Course Description

This course picks up on the skills acquired in INTENSIVE BEGINNING PORTUGUESE 1. Focusing again on communication, emphasis is placed on solidifying knowledge and moving forward with instruction in areas such as asking questions and making statements using material already learned. Building vocabulary, introducing past and future verb tenses, developing situationally adapted speech, while continuing to accentuate the development of oral and written communication. Assessment is based on class work, compositions, tests, a mid-term examination, and a final examination.
