Chinese language study (Putonghua and Cantonese) is offered at elementary to advanced levels.
Students attend classes with international students and host country students. Language of InstructionEnglish, Cantonese, Putonghua Language StudyThe study of Chinese (Putonghua or Cantonese) is not required although it is strongly recommended. A maximum of one 9-unit (6 CUHK credits) Chinese language course is permitted each term. UnitsStudents are required to take a full-time course of study on EAP; 21 UC quarter units per semester are required, which is usually four or five courses depending on the number of units per course.
