Highlights

The University of Hong Kong (HKU) offers all course work in English (except Chinese literature). Its attractive, compact campus is located on the slopes of Hong Kong Island facing Victoria Harbor and is only a few steps from Hong Kong’s bustling financial district. (details)

Academic Focus

Full curriculum in the arts, humanities, business, engineering, science, and social sciences. Very limited Chinese language instruction is available; it is not a focus of the programs at HKU.

Students attend classes with international students and host country students.

Language of Instruction

English.

Units

Students are required to take a full-time course of study on EAP. A minimum of 21 UC quarter units per semester is required; the normal load is 25 UC quarter units, which is usually five courses.

Housing

EAP students reside in dormitories or apartments and share rooms with local students. Students also have the option of living off campus. (details)
