Barbados: Fall and Academic Year Programs - University of the West Indies, Cave Hill

Host institution

University of the West Indies, Cave Hill

Highlights

The University of the West Indies (UWI) is comprised of three campuses, with locations in Barbados, Jamaica, and Trinidad and Tobago. EAP students attend the Barbados campus at Cave Hill where many of the 6,000 students are locals and from nearby islands. Because of the complex colonial history of the island, UC students can gain a unique perspective while pursuing Caribbean and African studies. In addition to Caribbean-based studies, students can choose from a wide array of courses offered in the faculties of Clinical and Medical Research, Humanities and Education, Law, Pure and Applied Sciences, and Social Sciences.
