Additional courses may be available at host universities or program
locations and not all courses may still be offered. Since courses in
new programs have not yet been

Special Curriculum Programs
The following program has a predetermined curriculum designed for UC
students.
Language & Culture Programs, Salvador
Three courses are required for all students:
- Two sequential Portuguese language courses (6.0 UC quarter units
each)
- Brazil and the Black Atlantic (ETHST/HIST/LATAS/PORT 120, 8.0 UC
quarter units)
