Internships/Community Service

Participation in internships is one of the many program highlights for EAP students in Chile. Internship placements are possible in a variety of fields and enable students to become better integrated in Chilean society while developing Spanish language skills in a practical, workplace setting. Opportunities exist in education, the arts, business and economics, public health, environmental resource preservation, gender studies, human rights, and the documentation and preservation of local cultures. Past EAP participants have developed projects working with:

Other organizations for internships: FLACSO, Hogar de Cristo, Ministry of Education, and public and private schools in the Santiago area, among others.

Students must consult with the Study Center Director to shape their projects.
