France: Housing and Meals
Summary
Introductory Studies in Western Civilization Programs, American University
of Paris
Students are required to live in homestays (private homes) with French families.
Programs in French and European Studies, UC Center in Paris
Students live in homestays with French families (private homes) or in
dormitories with UC and other American students. Students planning to
extend to the Bordeaux spring option are required to stay in a homestay
while in Paris.
Intensive Language and Culture Programs
Bordeaux: Students live in homestays (private homes), apartments, or
studios with UC students, international students, French students, or
French families.
Lyon: Students are required to live in homestays (private homes) with
French families.
Critical Studies Program, Paris Center for Critical Studies
Students share flats with French students, or live in individual furnished
small studios.
Political Science Program, Sciences Po, Paris
Students share private homes, dorms, apartments, or studios with international
students, host country students, and/or UC students.
Immersion Program, University of Bordeaux
Year students live in private homes, apartments, or studios with international
students, host country students, and/or UC students. During the ILP, year
students live in dormitories. Spring students may live in homestays, private
homes, apartments, or studios.
Science and Engineering Programs, University of Grenoble
Students may live in private homes, apartments, or studios with international
students, host country students, and/or UC students. During the first three
to four weeks of the program, students live in dormitories.
Immersion Program, University of Grenoble
Year students live in private homes, apartments, or studios with international
students, host country students, and/or UC students. During the first
three to four weeks of the program, students will live in dormitories.
Fall students will live in homestays (private homes) with French families.
Other housing options may also be available.

During the ILP, students live in dormitories. Thereafter, students live
in private homes, apartments, or studios with international students, host
country students, and/or UC students.
Immersion Program, University of Toulouse
During the ILP, students live in dormitories. Thereafter, students live
in private homes, apartments, or studios with international students, host
country students, and/or UC students.
Graduate Program, Ecole Normale Supérieure, Paris (ENS rue d’Ulm)
Students may live in private homes, dormitories, apartments, or studios
with international students, UC students, and/or host country students.
