Germany: AdministrationUC students will work with many EAP-related entities during their involvement with the program, including EAP staff at their home Campus EAP Office, staff at the Universitywide Office of EAP, and staff at the Study Center once they are abroad. Campus EAP OfficeDuring the application process, the Campus EAP Office is your primary contact. The Campus EAP Office coordinates recruitment, student selection, orientation, and academic advising. Universitywide Office of EAPThe Universitywide Office of EAP establishes and operates programs and coordinates EAP administration for all UC campuses from its headquarters in Goleta, California (near Santa Barbara). You will work closely with the following staff at the Universitywide Office of EAP while preparing to go abroad:
On-site SupportEAP programs in Germany are administered from Göttingen by a UC professor who serves as the Study Center Director. (Göttingen is located about two hours from Berlin and Potsdam.) The Study Center Director, along with local university staff, advises students on academic matters, assists with housing, and provides information on cultural activities.
At Potsdam and at each Berlin-area university, local liaisons supervise
day-to-day operations. The Study Center Director visits Potsdam and Berlin
by appointment. The internship programs are administered by the Carl Duisberg
