Its location near The Hague, the seat of Dutch government and home to more than 150 international legal organizations, provides unique opportunities for students to study and witness unfolding world events. In addition to the many university courses taught in Dutch, Leiden offers a variety of courses in English at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and is particularly strong in the humanities, political science, and law.
