Netherlands: Administration

UC students will work with many EAP-related entities during their involvement with the program, including EAP staff at their home Campus EAP Office, staff at the Universitywide Office of EAP, and staff at the Study Center once they are abroad.

Campus EAP Office

During the application process, the Campus EAP Office is your primary contact. The Campus EAP Office coordinates recruitment, student selection, orientation, and academic advising.

Universitywide Office of EAP

The Universitywide Office of EAP establishes and operates programs and coordinates EAP administration for all UC campuses from its headquarters in Goleta, California (near Santa Barbara). You will work closely with the following staff at the Universitywide Office of EAP while preparing to go abroad:

  • Operations Specialists coordinate the logistics of the program. Document requirements, health and safety precautions, placement and acceptance by the host institution, transportation to the host location, and housing arrangements are examples of information that will be distributed by the Operations Specialists.
  • Academic Specialists advise on academic policies, review and record courses taken abroad for UC credit, process student registrations, petitions and grades, and document and maintain students' academic records.
  • Student Finance Analysts assist primarily with EAP statements, program fee collection, and financial aid disbursements (in conjunction with your campus Financial Aid Office).
