Netherlands: Selection Criteria
Students must submit a complete application to the Campus EAP Office.

Application deadlines
Undergraduate applicants must meet the following minimum requirements:
General
Requirements vary by program. Most programs have prerequisites and all programs
have a minimum GPA requirement. Some programs require one to two years of university-level
training in the host country language. For further details see your Campus EAP
Office and the EAP website.
In addition to program-specific requirements, all applicants must meet the following
minimum requirements:
- Serious academic goals and a clear plan for integrating EAP studies into
the student’s UC degree program
- Social and cross-cultural sensitivity; maturity; ability to adapt successfully
to a different environment and a new education system; ability to assess and
exhibit appropriate behavior in a variety of situations
- Willingness to abide by program regulations
- Endorsement by the Campus EAP Selection Committee and completion of all
campus-specific requirements (an interview may be required)
Immersion Program, Leiden University
- Class level: junior, senior, graduate
- GPA: 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application and maintained through the end of the last term prior to departure. No exceptions.
- Other: 3.2 GPA in course work previously completed in the field(s) the student will study at Leiden. Students must be accepted into each faculty or department in which course work is requested. Requirements vary according to discipline or field of study.
- Admission: Selection is determined by the Campus EAP Office. Final admission is determined by the host university. Space is very limited in this program. Carefully review your goals and the objectives of the program.
Immersion Program, University College, Maastricht

Class level: sophomore, junior, senior

GPA: 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application and maintained through the end of the last term prior to departure. No exceptions.

Other: Highly motivated and independent learners, able to work in a group setting.

Admission: Selection is determined by the Campus EAP Office. Final admission is determined by the host university. Space is limited. Carefully review your goals and the objectives of this program.
Immersion Program, University College, Utrecht

Class level: sophomore, junior

GPA: 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application and maintained through the end of the last term prior to departure. No exceptions.

Other: Desire to live and study in a small, residential college setting and actively participate with other students in the learning process

Admission: Selection is determined by the Campus EAP Office. Final admission is determined by the host university. Space is limited in this program. Carefully review your goals and the objectives of the program.
Immersion Program, Utrecht University
- Class level: junior, senior, graduate
- GPA: 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application and maintained through the end of the last term prior to departure. No exceptions.
- Admission: Selection is determined by the Campus EAP Office. Final admission is determined by the host university.
Business and Economics Program, Maastricht University
- Class level: junior, senior, graduate
- GPA: 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application and maintained through the end of the last term prior to departure. Students below a 3.0 must confer with a Campus EAP Advisor before submitting an application.
- Other: Completion of the intermediate micro-macro economics series and a background in mathematics and calculus are strongly recommended to enable students to assume a knowledgeable role in classroom discussions.
- Admission: Selection is determined by the Campus EAP Office. Final admission is determined by the host university.
Cognitive and Biological Psychology Program, Maastricht University

Class level: junior, senior, graduate

GPA: 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application and maintained through the end of the last term prior to departure. No exceptions.

Other: Advanced standing in a major field related to psychology and a background that will enable a student to assume a knowledgeable role in classroom discussions are strongly recommended. Individual course prerequisites will vary.

Agricultural and Environmental Science Program, Wageningen University
- Class level: junior, senior, graduate
- GPA: 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application and maintained through the end of the last term prior to departure. Students below a 3.0 must confer with a Campus EAP Advisor before submitting an application.
- Other: Declared major in the agricultural and environmental sciences at UC Davis
- Admission: Selection is determined by the Campus EAP Office. Final admission is determined by the host university.
