The information below is for 2007-08. Language & Culture ProgramsUniversity of Córdoba: Students are placed in pre-arranged homestays to assist with their Spanish and integration into daily life. Other housing options are not available. Students live with Spanish families/hosts. UC Center, Madrid: Students have the option to live in shared apartments or in homestays located throughout Madrid. All housing is pre-arranged by the program. Students live with Spanish hosts or other UC students. Hispanic Studies ProgramsUniversity of Alcalá: Students are housed in a pre-arranged dormitory-like residencia. Other housing options are not available. Students live with international students and UC students. Carlos III University: The Study Center pre-arranges rooms in private homes in Madrid or Getafe (the suburb where Carlos III University is located). Most homes are located in Madrid. Other housing options are not available. The hosts usually are not families. Pre-ILP ProgramUniversity of Cádiz: Students live in pre-arranged dormitory housing and live with UC students. Academic Year ProgramsAutonomous University of Barcelona During the ILP, students live in program-assigned housing. After the ILP, students find their own housing in apartments, private homes, boarding houses, or colegios mayores (university residences) and live with international students, UC students, and/or host country students.
