Highlights

Middle East Technical University (METU), home to over 23,000 students, is one of the highest-ranked research universities in Turkey, usually admitting only the top 1 percent of Turkish students who take the university entrance exams. EAP students can select courses from a wide array of departments within the university’s faculties of Architecture, Arts and Sciences, Economic and Administrative Sciences, Education, and Engineering. In order to better serve international students, several departments in the engineering faculty have been evaluated and given approval by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology (ABET).
