Short-Term Programs

Can’t get away from your home campus for an entire year? Not a problem. EAP has developed quality short-term programs in many locations throughout the world. Some short-term options are available to students as early as the sophomore year and many have minimal language requirements.

Some short-term options are available to students as early as the sophomore year and many have minimal language requirements. See the country pages of this website or check with your Campus EAP Office for program details, eligibility requirements, and application deadlines.

Some programs may be used as a means to acquire sufficient language skills to participate in EAP for the full academic year (see Extending Participation on EAP below).

Extending Participation on EAP

It is sometimes possible for students to continue their participation in EAP from a summer or a semester program provided that:

  • The program dates do not conflict
  • The student meets all eligibility requirements for both programs (which may differ significantly)
  • The student applies for and is accepted into both programs before embarking on the first

Students who may want to continue participation should discuss the possibility with the Campus EAP Office staff.
