To apply for a Dan Wise Memorial Scholarship, it is imperative that all of the following materials be turned in to the Campus EAP Office by the application deadline of March 5, 2008. Please contact your campus EAP office if you are having any problems with any part of the application. Students from all of the UC campuses will be competing for these ten scholarships.

  2. Personal Essay (see Application for details)
  3. Statement of Financial Need (see Application for details)

Please note that all financial aid information will be verified with your campus Financial Aid Office.

Selection Process

  1. The Dan Wise Memorial Scholarships will not be distributed equally across all of the UC campuses, since France participation numbers vary greatly from campus to campus.
  2. To be considered, completed applications must be delivered by the applicant to the Campus EAP office no later than March 5, 2008.
  3. A systemwide, representative committee of UC EAP faculty directors and EAP staff will meet by March 14, 2008 to select the top 20 finalists, if a sufficient number of eligible applications are received. The application packets for these finalists will be forwarded to the donor for her review. The donor will select the final 10 winners.
  4. By April 17, 2008, the Director of UCEAP will announce the names of the recipients of the Dan Wise Scholarships.
