Recent Reports

UC EAP Strategic Plan and Business Model (February 2009)
The overall goals and short- and mid-term strategies articulated in EAP’s Strategic Plan continue to guide EAP’s planning. It should be noted that several adjustments must now be made in the implementation of that plan as a result the additional $2.8 million reduction in EAP’s revenues from General and Opportunity Funds that will be phased in over four years, beginning in the 2009–10 fiscal year.
EAP Budget Plan. Five Year Projects, 2009-10 - 2013-14
This document illustrates EAP projected operating results over the next five years. It highlights the results of EAP’s shift to a student fee based model and encompasses all major segments of EAP activity from home office to international Study Center locations, including projected student enrollments. Adjustments from the February Strategic Plan include: 1) the reduction of expenditures in EAP’s Goleta and overseas operations beyond those outlined in the February Strategic Plan, 2) an increase in student fees beyond those outlined in that plan; 3) the rapid building of a sufficient contingency reserve.

EAP Governing Committee

Administrative oversight of EAP is provided by a Governing Committee, appointed by the Provost with representation supplied by the Academic Senate. The Governing Committee advises the Provost about the program’s strategic, financial, and organizational direction and keeps its performance, and that of its director, under administrative review. EAP will post materials related to the Committee’s work as available.
