Study Abroad in China
International Studies, Joint UC-Fudan University (JPIS)
Overview
China today serves as an ideal setting in which to study and observe the political, cultural, and social consequences of rapid and uneven economic development and increasing globalization of our world. In the Joint UC-Fudan University program in International Studies, where all courses are taught in English, you will explore the processes, manifestations, and inherent controversies of globalization with Fudan University students. You will take courses together with Fudan students, pursue joint research projects, and engage in critical thinking about globalization and its related social, cultural, economic, and environmental manifestations, along with problems, policy issues, and processes.
Students attend classes with UC and Fudan University students.
