Overview
Maastricht, one of Europe's most beautiful cities, is located on the river Maas in the southernmost province of the Netherlands, Limburg. The area contains monuments from Roman times to the present day, including manors and castles, ruins, old town halls, and ancient urban architecture. Maastricht is only a short train ride away from major European cities. There are plenty of restaurants and cafés, and the entire city exudes a cosmopolitan European atmosphere. UC students fall in love with Maastricht as soon as they arrive!
University College Maastricht (UCM) aims to establish a unique intellectual community among its students and faculty along with a sense of common purpose through intensive intellectual and social exchange in the liberal arts.
Students attend classes with international and Dutch students.

University College Maastricht
The University College at Maastricht (UCM) offers the opportunity to study in English in the Netherlands at a small liberal arts college that provides a broad perspective on the world and the intellectual tools necessary to analyze contemporary problems in science and society. Classes are small and emphasize independent learning and group process. The approach is interdisciplinary and students build their own curriculum from courses offered in the sciences, humanities, and social sciences, including practical skills workshops and academic core courses.
