Study Abroad in Spain
Language & Culture, University of Córdoba
Overview
Live and study in one of the oldest and most historically important cities in Spain! Declared a World Heritage Site as a compendium of diverse cultures, Córdoba has been the capital of Hispania Ulterior during the Roman Empire, as well as the capital of the Muslim world during the Umayyad Caliphate. Yet Córdoba is part of the modern world at the same time. The high-speed AVE trains connect you quickly to all major Spanish cities and from there to the rest of Europe. The city is particularly appealing during the spring semester when the festival calendar is busy.
This language and culture program combines classroom time with regular social and cultural events in Córdoba and longer weekend excursions. All such activities are incorporated into the curriculum and make it possible to complete the second year of Spanish in one semester. Regular language exchange with Spanish students is organized by the EAP Study Center for any student who wishes to participate.
Students attend all classes with UC students.
