Study Abroad in Spain

Language & Culture, UC Center Madrid

Summary

This intensive seven-week program allows beginning students of Spanish to accelerate their language training and encounter the cultural wealth of Spain. The program combines the modern classrooms, library, and technology of the Instituto Internacional with language instructors from the universities of the capital, and uses Madrid itself as the ultimate language lab. A weekend excursion to Galicia provides an additional perspective on Spanish culture, and provides contrast to the many outings in and around the capital.

Students attend classes with other UC students.
