Academic Focus

Swedish language and culture. The program offers course work at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels. Swedish is used in the classroom from the start in order to develop students’ competence in all aspects of the language, including reading, writing, grammar, and conversation. In addition to 120 hours of class work, the curriculum includes field trips, guest lectures, and social activities to introduce students to Swedish culture and society, and to Sweden’s role in Scandinavia and Europe.
