Summer Programs
The University of California’s Summer Sessions take place in June through August, outside of the UC academic year occurring in fall through spring (August/September through May/June). It is a fiscally self-supporting entity, so fees and tuition charged may not be waived as for academic-year reciprocity participants coming on a "non-degree/no-fee-exchange" basis.
Some EAP/host university exchange agreements include reciprocity student participation in UC summer session as well as or instead of the academic year. Only registered student at one of EAP's host universities are eligible to participate in summer session through EAP. Interested students should contact their home university international office or the EAP Study Center to determine whether or not summer study is an option.
EAP currently only offers reciprocal exchanges in the summer at the following UC campuses:
Students who are not eligible to participate in summer sessions through EAP may enroll independently in UC Summer Sessions or UC Extensions courses (includes English as a Second Language courses).
