Congratulations, your 2006-07 academic year in California is about to begin! If you have any last minute questions before you leave the UK/I, then don’t hesitate to contact the Study Centre office. Once you arrive in California, then pop into your Campus EAP Office if you have any queries.

TIMELINE

November 2007

Application filing period for fall begins.

Mid January 2008

The deadline for receipt of fall UC undergraduate applications in oversubscribed majors (architecture, business administration, engineering [including computer science], film and legal studies) will be mid-January 2008. 

Early Feb 2008

The deadline for receipt of applications for all other majors will be the first week of February 2008.

March/April 2008

Apply for UC housing and investigate other available accommodation options. Pay careful attention to campus deadlines.

July 2007

Finalize arrangements -visa, housing, flight reservations- for fall arrival (August/ September).

Mid-August 2008

Courses begin UC Berkeley

Late Sept 2008

Courses begin all UC campuses (except UCB)

Mid-May 2009

Academic year ends UCB

Mid-June 2009

Academic year ends all UC campuses (except UCB)
