Program Development
team members research the feasibility of new EAP initiatives, manage
the process for developing new programs, and support the UC Academic
Senate’s oversight of existing programs by managing the Formal Review
process. Program Development staff members are trained in project
management, are knowledgeable about UC and EAP academic policies,
and monitor trends in international higher education and the field
of study abroad. Under the general oversight of EAP’s Associate Dean,
the Program Development team works closely with the EAP Regional Directors
and various units within the Universitywide EAP office, Study Center
Directors, UC faculty and academic units, campus EAP staff, and EAP
administrative bodies such as the University Committee for International
Education and the Council of Campus Directors.
The Program Development team is part of the Academic Development and
Cross-Regional Support Unit at the Universitywide EAP Office.
